Beyond the Streets began with a simple belief: young people deserve more than programs — they deserve people who consistently show up for them.
Our roots in Philadelphia community outreach date back to 2016, with youth camps, holiday drives, family events, and year-round mentorship. In 2023, our leadership launched the Wynnefield Brothers Baseball program after recognizing an opportunity to use sports as a powerful way to connect with young people.
What started as a baseball team quickly became something bigger. As relationships grew, so did the need for mentorship, accountability, educational support, life skills, and opportunities beyond the field.
Today, Beyond the Streets is building on that foundation to create a broader youth-development organization focused on helping young people overcome barriers and build successful futures.
Beoyond The Streets exsists to foster the growth of at-risk students and student-athletes living in underserved communities by providing mentorships, academic support, mental health support, and access to all sports in the Philadelphia region.
We envision communities where every young person has access to mentorship, opportunity, education, positive relationships, and the support necessary to reach their full potential.
